There is no other side, that fan is just an asshole and you're celebrating that behavior. You and whoever did that are why people hate Philly fans. And I'm not saying that kind of stuff doesn't happen everywhere, or that all Philly fans behave that way. But that guy was a dick and you're supporting him.

No one is condoning fans dumping popcorn on a player but people (not you) act like the fan pissed on a toddler while burning a flag. You know the scene in The Sum of All Fears where a nuke goes off at the Super Bowl? The headline in every paper that day was “Philly fans boo Santa Claus.” |

Amazingly Howard shot 58% from the line this year. That’s a small bonus for the Sixers. It’s mind boggling a guy with the skills of Ben Simmons, has absolutely no shooting touch. Embid is definitely MVP worthy this year, but the wildcard for the Sixers, if they’re going to get a Chip, is Tobias Harris. I use to think he was the most overpaid player (Now it’s Mike Conley) in the NBA, but he’s been balling. If not for him the Wizards would have won game one. They are going to need max production from him if they’re going to get out of the East.

It's nice to see - he took a lot of flack from the fans (myself included) for not stepping up
Was holding my breath went he went of the game last night and went back to the locker room. Was nice to see him immediately return and not miss a beat
Still waiting for an update on Curry. He's always rolling his ankles, going out with nagging injuries - has never been the same since he got Covid and disappears for stretches - but is incredibly valuable when he's hot. He can be streaky. We'd miss his shooting touch. Hoping he's not out for an extended period of time - really not that concerned about it until the ECF

Yet you hold your breath when he’s up there? Yep Do you hold your breath when Embiid is attempting free throws? And you are correct, Simmons does make a majority of his free throw attempts. His career percentage made according to basketball reference is 59.7%. I wasn’t sure just how good or bad that is so for a comparison I looked up Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, especially since people call him the next Magic. Bird’s career percentage made is 88.6% and Magic’s is 84.8%. Now that’s just two players but it seems to be a wide gap. I would think a generational talent would be closer to the talent he’s being compared to. |
