His basketball team couldn't beat a grade school team for years, just to get high draft picks and hope someday to have an all-star team. The 76ers didn't invent "tanking" but they perfected it. Their owner called it "The Process", forgetting that draft picks are gambles, cough couch FULTZY cough cough.
Might it wok, it might. Must have been fun to be a Sixers fan in 2015-16 when they won 10 fucking games and it was obvious that management didn't give a tin shit for the product on court. A great argument for promotion/relegation
Should be taught as MBA curriculum everywhere

Sixers 100% win this series. No doubt in my mind. In fact, I am calling that they win in 5. Atlanta played out of their minds and Philly came out flat. It will not happen again. Philly is simply the better team. I will actually be at the game to night with my daughter. It is her first NBA game. I am really excited for her. You said exactly the same thing about the Sixers 4-1 loss to the Celtics in 2018. Practically verbatim. Better luck this time. It wasn't any better.

The entire process netted Joel Embiid, a world class player but they probably could have done just as well without a 7 year tank or whatever. |
