You didn't say 'will be,' you said 'is.' It's funny how you keep having to shift your argument as I present actual facts that disprove your nonsense. Right now Embiid is not the dominant force prime Olajuwon was; right now Embiid isn't as dominant as Jokic is. 'The most gifted big man of all time' hasn't had half the career (in terms of winning, accolades, etc) as most dominant big men in history, nor is he currently having the most impressive year at his own position in the league. Ah, but the argument is 'overall skillset.' Not right now, of course. Because that would go to Jokic. According to you, in a vacuum, Embiid is better than Olajuwon. In totality, he's better than Jokic. Yet in reality, in the present, neither argument is true. This is a great thought experiment if nothing else. When another player clearly had a better career, you want to disregard that and focus on 'overall skillset.' When another player is clearly outplaying Embiid in the now, you want to focus on their overall careers. WS- Jokic has more than double! For their careers! (Hint, you don't even want to know what Dream's WS number is.) To your point though, neither player has won anything. You are right
I did say 'Is'
Which he 'Is' the most Gifted Big Man of All-Time with the Greatest Skillset
For some reason you started talking about MVPs and Championships
This has '0' to do with having the greatest skillset a big man has ever had and being the most Gifted Big Man of All-Time
Skippy McGee the 12th man on the bench could have 30 titles too I love it. "Hey we're talking about the greatest players of all time, why are you bringing accomplishments into it?" Skippy McGee is more likely to have a great skillset than he is to win MVP and multiple Finals MVPs. Why bother waiting for the title, the process already got you a guy with a great skillset. Sounds like mission accomplished to me. Though you should still hope for at least a conference finals appearance this year. That would be a first for Embiid and Simmons, aka the greatest big man ever and the next Magic/Lebron. Don't ever change, frogs.

For all the talk about not winning a title since The Process started - for some reason people point to 'Ainge' and their 'Process'
I'm sorry - since 'The Process' started has Ainge brought the C's a title - in fact they seem to be regressing horribly and may blow the team up this offseason and fire the coach as we are ascending to the top of the league (for years to come) with our 'Process' I thought they were lousy last year and they still swept you out of the playoffs and made the conference finals. The Most Gifted Big Man Ever got swept by a team starting Daniel Theis at center. Oof.

Would we slight Marino, Barkley, Iverson, et all?
I can make the argument Iverson was the most gifted little man of All-Time with the greatest skillset of any little man to ever play the game

No shit I brought up his accomplishments. It has everything to do with being dominant and being the main reason for your team's success, aka being great. Did you not understand the part of my post that was in quotes was supposed to be you talking? This is getting painful now.

I can make the argument Iverson was the most gifted little man of All-Time with the greatest skillset of any little man to ever play the game Your original argument was the Process was already a success because you got Embiid and Simmons. It was pointed out you haven't won anything, so you shifted the argument to, "Well these guys are very talented." I never said they weren't, I said they haven't won anything. And I said it's hard to point to the dominance of a player who is currently being outplayed at his position, along with the fact that he's never won anything. You're the master of talking in circles and moving the goal posts. I used to think it was your shtick, but after that last post I'm starting to think you legitimately don't understand your own argument, let alone mine.

I did state The Process was a success
And it is because we have 2 generational talents - the titles will be forthcoming
I don't see what the problem here is
They're about to wrap up the #1 Seed in the East and can't we argue they will be at the Top of the East for years to come?
That is a success

Why do people continually respond and fawn for attention from a poster they despise? Im not sure why you do that, but at least you're asking the question. Didn't realize my post, which obviously wasn't a response to you, would get under your skin so much.

May not have been a response but it was in 'reference' to myself
And yet again - the same poster fawns for my attention however whines and cries about me when he could have easily just ignored me and go on with his business
On and on it goes.... for years
I ignore this poster; however he craves my attention and consistently puts me down seeking the rooms approval making snippy remarks about myself
It really gets under his skin I ignore him and never respond so he continues with his snippy comments directed towards myself
On it on it goes....
Seeking the rooms approval for years when I just go on with my life .......

I like to argue when you say dumb stuff, guilty as charged. You know that, otherwise you wouldn't repeat the same nonsense over and over again. And I appreciate that. No problem for me, I'm just trying to save you the embarrassment of being wrong. Again. Who are we kidding, you have no shame. You can be excited about your guys without pretending they're the greatest players in history. You can be excited about your team's prospects without assuming you'll be at the top of the east for years to come. Don't we have to see how this season shakes out first? And the future of the Bucks, Nets and any team that could make a mega trade and become the new hot destination? Seems to happen more and more these days. You're fantasizing about the future and already claiming victory, it's crazy. Sorry, but it isn't a success until you start winning. Unless being 'the top of the east' in the 2021 regular season is your ultimate goal. I guess as a Boston sports fan my standards are higher than yours.

We will be at the top for over a decade
Think about what we can surround around that
This is Doc and Morey's first full offseason to mold the team as they see fit
I truly believe they will win the title this year; however the fun officially starts next year as we officially begin our string of NBA domination with exactly how Doc/Morey want to shape 'The Process'

You've had the two generational talents for a few years already, haven't reached a conference final. Doc has one title and a history of underachieving with great talent. Morey has accomplished absolutely nothing. All sarcasm aside, I understand your optimism and enthusiasm even if I think you're taking it a bit too far. It's just that I'd advise against counting your chickens before they're hatched.

The year prior -
Can we not argue that Kawhi's shot that knocked them off may have been the greatest shot in the history of the NBA?
Sixers win that game - who knows what would have happened

'Just discuss sports honestly'
What am I talking about baking a fucking cake? It is sports.
'Why does it matter what you believe'?
It shouldn't matter to you. I'm a fucking stranger on an internet message board.
But obviously it does matter to you as you put your fingers on the keyboard and respond (like clockwork)
Funny how that works, eh?

Been thinking about who I want to play in the opening round
Let's remember folks - #8 seeds beating a #1 seed have happened
Looking at the Ugly Ducking Tourney of -
Celtics Hornets Pacers Wiz
I'd rather play the Celtics or Hornets. Preferably the Celtics since they blow. I love Charlotte's tandem of Bridges/Ball. Young up and comers
Pacers have had our number over the years and the Wiz have been playing fantastic the 2nd half of the year - I want no part of Beal/Westbrook
So let's keep our fingers crossed it's the Cs or Hornets as they're likely sweeps

Well, you believe in the process, don’t ya? I think the answer is a resounding ‘yes’ Can we not argue that 'The Process' was a success as it yielded us -
The most gifted big man of All-Time who is the MVP this year and is the most unstoppable force in the NBA
and
A Swiss Army Knife who is the Defensive Player of the Year this year and can play anywhere on the court 1-5 and thinks pass 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th who is a wizard with the ball in his hands in transition who is pretty much a maestro on the court conducting an orchestra?
With these 2 additions 'The Process' yielded us it in turned yielded a HOF coach to come here and also a HOF Exec to keep this ball rolling as we have become one of the most attractive destinations in the league?
Can we not argue that Stew? I guess it has netted you guys some good players, but you don’t really have a lot to show for it so far, do ya? Simmons and Embiid might be skilled (more so Embiid), but how far have you guys gotten? Not even to the Conference Finals. Not even a bridesmaid. I wouldn’t mind seeing the 76ers win it all, but I’ll won’t put my hopes on them as they always disappoint. Till they’re actually hoisting the banner and trophy I’ll assume that they’ll get stomped by the Celtics or the Heat in the first or second round.
