Whose idea was it to mix peanut butter and sugar together, bake it, and then sprinkle more sugar on top? Since when is peanut butter and a ton of sugar a good combo?
Do we put sugar on our peanut butter sandwiches? No we don't. We don't do that. That would be weird and gross.

Don't mainstream peanut butters like Jif and Skippy and Peter Pan have sugar? |

I like our store brand Best Choice of peanut butter. The other name brands are too sweet.
I like making peanut butter cookies, using one cup peanut butter, one cup of sugar, one egg and one tsp of vanilla. Mis together, roll into balls, place on a baking sheet, pressing with a fork to make a criss-cross pattern. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes and then remove to a plate. Enjoy!!

I like Nutter Butter cookies and Reeses peanut butter cups but really don't like peanut butter sandwiches (those peanut butter and cheese crackers are ok if they are the Keebler brand).

Oh they taste great, but making them's a bitch. So we just buy the mix, put extra water and oil in it so it's actually pliable, and put chocolate chips on top when you do the fork indentions, then they're delicious.

When it comes to my basic jar of peanut butter, it's All Natural - All the Way. My "go to" brand is Laura Scudder's, but I've had Adams, and (I think) Peter Pan, when I can't find Laura.
Even as a kid, I didn't like the "sugared" brands like Skippy, Jiff etc..
That said, I do like many peanut butter cookies, and the occasional sammy, with jam or honey. Someone mentioned Nutter Butter, which I like. And, the Girl Scouts have a good PB cookie ... "Savannahs," I think.
