I Ain't The One- Lynyrd Skynyrd Suite:Judy Blue Eyes- Crosby, Stills, and Nash
Emperor Of Wyoming- Neil Young.....maybe not a great song, but I always found it neat that one of rock's most prolific songwriter began his solo career with an instrumental. 😁

Some openings just set the tone. "Rocks Off" isn't the best Stones song but it starts off Exile on Main St perfectly.

I don't remember the song but the first song on roxy music. Which by the way has one the strongest first sides on any album i know. And a far weaker second side. So if you get this album, it's a good idea to familairize yourself with side two first, for obvious reasons.
that way, obviously you will appreciate the whole thing more. And obviously only if you only listen to no more than one side per day for obvious reasons. That are obvious to me.
