I have 3 small ones and love them. Not in a rush to get any more but I have an idea of what I want. Can't anyway because of lockdowns.

no, you wouldn't put a bumper sticker on a mercedes would you? Well there you go. But that's just my opinion. Nothing like making generalizations. I'm not making generalizations , for some reason you think i am. I'm just stating the clear reason why tattoos are not good. Also, as far as music is concerned, i just wouldn't really like any band where the frontMAN had a tattoo.
In other words there are no bands i like where the singer has a tattoo. Well except for ozzy osbourne he's the exception to that rule.
He's the only one cool enough to get away with it, however most that have tattoos it's like, lame ok.
As far as i'm concerned there's a reason why tattoo removal places are in business.

Yes. I like tattoos but I am very picky with what ones I get and I have four of them including one of my Wife's name and she has my name on her too but most of them people can't see when I am wearing clothes.

No, I don't like them, but as long as they are small or very creative they can look attractive. I find it annoying that these days they seem to have become the norm for the younger generations. Under a certain age you barely see people without tattoos anymore. I have the impression that most people seem to be doing it mindlessly just to follow the trend.

I'm not a fan of Ozzy. I just think that it's a case by case situation, and making generalizations is very silly and obtuse.

I don’t like tattoos but some of the nicest people have them, so I’ve got to get over it.

One I never got is people who get their butts tattooed, granted that dramatically decreases the number of people who'll actually see it, but still, why? Just, why?

To me, the worst are face tattoos. images.app.goo.gl/7bx7VUFWsoC6VjJp7Otherwise, when you see a lady in a formal evening dress with tattoos. The formal evening dress is classy. The tattoos are trashy. The tattoos ruin the whole look. She might as well wear a nun outfit (no skin showing).

They're ugly if they're over done. Some I like, like the roses on Scarlett Johansson's back And this one on Margaret Cho

How else is anybody going to make any decisions? Making any decision is making a judgement. Don't you know the difference between good and bad? Hot and cold? Big and small? In order to decide between any choices you have to make a judgement. What about music, TV shows and movies you like, and don't like? In order to decide, you need to make a judgment. Otherwise you are just a cowardly, indecisive, feckless weenie.

General statements inherently imply "most" not "all". Every rule has exceptions. Sweeping statements imply "all" not "most". No exceptions. I don't see mstreepsucks or me making any sweeping statements. As a matter of fact, I believe I specifically said one could hate tattoos and like a person with tattoos. Looks like you may have jumped to an erroneous conclusion.
