Philadelphia to Kansas City to Oakland - - seems like Honolulu is the logical progression to westward travel. No, but there should be an MLB-Nippon Pacific World Series every November there for the past 60 years already.

My brain tells me Portland so that it could make sense to remain in the AL West. Hawaii would be cool but would also be weird I think and not smart. I imagine the people living there have better activities to do than a 3 hour baseball game. Arizona also I dont think needs a 2nd team.

Visiting teams would play an eight game series, so they would only have to travel to Honolulu twice. And the Islanders would wander the western US like a gypsy caravan for months. And the Islanders always seemed to be a poor franchise. There are other things to do in Hawaii beside sitting in a ballpark and sweating. But that was the PCL and not the AL.
And, like all the other cities, there's no real ballpark. I guess they can still play in Aloha Stadium but that's old, opened in 1975. And it's as dull as dishwater. Baseball don't want homes like this anymore, they don't look cool on TV

Hawaii should've been having neutral site games, if not All-Star games all these years. It'll never hold as a big 4 site though with travel & start times.

Why not Las Vegas? The NBA and MLB will be there eventually. Itβs inevitable.
Iβm hoping they either stay or go to Portland.

The glitz and glamour is what the NBA needs. The NBA will likely expand to Seattle and Vegas. I donβt know why theyβre taking so long to do it though. Seattle has a nice newly renovated arena now where the Kraken will be playing.
