I didn't say I hadn't seen any of it. I said I don't think I ever saw a full episode. The bit I saw of it left me without any desire to watch more. Even so, it feels disingenuous for you to comment on the show like that. Especially a flaw that you wouldn't have noticed without watching every single episode.

In the topic about whites not being allowed to voice black characters anymore he actually agreed, but apparently has no problem with Phil Lamarr voicing a SAMURAI, and then he wants to talk about racists and I brought up to him about how the Chicago mayor would only do interviews from people of color and I told him that was RACIST and the only thing Vits could say “gee I hope you’re treating your keyboard well”. Again Vits you have no FUCKING CLUE as to what the hell you are talking about. I’m glad I’m not the only one who seems to agree that you are a fucking idiot, but if it makes you feel better by showing everyone how fucking stupid you are, PLEASE BE MY GUEST!!! |

Well, we're not talking about a show that only lasted 1 or 2 seasons (and therefore didn't have enough time to add new characters) or that took place in a city that is 100% white in real life. Even if you want to argue that diversity wasn't seen as something marketable back then, a show this popular could afford to take risks. In fact, when they brought in Julie in season 1 or Charlie in season 9, there was nothing weird or forced about it.

You would know that if you understood what context, and therefore, if you understood when casting should and shouldn't be based on that. I'm surprised you didn't say "Vits probably complains about Lt. Dan not being played by an actor without legs," since that's the argument trolls tend to use.

But i agree with people who says that diversity is not a must. Its fine if a show has diversity but its not a must.

Because the complain is about most of the characters, not just the leads. Also, I remember a SEINFELD episode where George not having any black friends was part of the plot.
