Yet every Marvel cocknocker loves James Gunn’s writing. They’re nuts.

So where’s the Howard the Duck series? I’m still waiting on SQUIRREL GIRL! I would never watch anything with a character as silly as squirrel girl but it would be a no brainer to cast her perfectly. Anna Kendrick with her buck teeth and her very annoying personality and very limited acting skills looks and acts like a rodent already. Spot on squirrel girl. Its a perfect comment on how ridiculous marvel villains are that squirrel girl has easily defeated Galactus and Thanos etc... They should have had her beat Thanos in the mcu like she did in the comics and wouldn't have needed to kill off numerous popular characters.

Dave Bautista has always been known as a sheep in lion's clothing, he'll kiss anyone's feet if it guarantees money with very few exceptions to the rule.

I think they used Drax effectively in the films. He's a side character played well by an actor who is basically a slab of meat. Sorry, Dave.

We flipped a coin about what movie we were seeing, and I lost. Date night meant we were seeing a movie, getting dinner, and then going for a drive, and considering how many movies I've won the coin toss on in the past that weren't my partner's cup of tea but I heard no complaints, I wasn't about to be the jerk who didn't hold up my end of a coin toss bargain. And as far as trailers went, I hadn't watched any. When I heard Loki was going to get killed off and that Vision was going to have a fairly big role, I lost what little interest I had left after CIVIL WAR. PS: Your tone sounds very angry. Have you considered deep breaths? Chamomile tea? Prolonged anger is bad for the body, makes you create a lot of stress hormone, which wrecks havoc on your body. I'll say a prayer for you tonight that you can smile more often (smiling is very good for a body and the soul). That might win you points in the race for boyfriend or girlfriend of the year I'm sure but to me it makes you look like an insufferable simp. Well, first of all--- what is a "simp"? Second, I'm not looking for girlfriend of the year points. I don't mind seeing two or three movies a year that I'm not super interested in, to be nice. I've seen movies with friends, siblings, and such that weren't movies I wanted to see, so they didn't have to go alone. I'm sorry you've never had anyone in your life willing to see a movie with you, just to keep you company. Sounds lonely.

Oh please the boyfriend or girlfriend is the try out phase for marriage not the film buddy phase. You didn't actually see a movie with the person settling for you, you used your boyfriend as an excuse to then go on and bitch on a dedicated fan forum over a film you had all the power to avoid if you wanted to, big difference.

I don't know enough about him from the comics.
I do think the Guardians all took a backslide from Infinity War onward. All except Gamora, who had a terrific, meaningful death. She was critical to what happened to the universe. The rest? Drax was comic relief. I didn't think of it as a negative because Batista had so much fun with it, but yeah, he was.
Starlord's backslide was most disappointing. I don't care that he couldn't not hit Thanos in the face. I care that he was back to making the same old little boy jokes about his grenades looking like balls. The best thing to happen to him in Infinity War was Thanos saying he liked him. He was probably being nice.
I think Rocket survived the snap so the writers could say look, it was random. Sure all 6 original Avengers survived, but only one Guardian did too and he ain't even the leader. Or tall.

To be fair they did over do it with the "comedic" side of drax. Hell most of the time it ends up being cringy.
The one that always comes to mind was the whole "invisible" scene in Infinity War.

It's probably true, but it's not the Drax show either. Bautista was Drax I think 4 times, which is a lot of times. He's had a good run. How many times does he expect to play Drax?
