No I hated it from the first day. It was less stressful in grade 12 but by then you know you have to go out into the big world and I wasn't prepared for it. The only thing is that the after school period was more exciting-- not being in school was precious. Days off etc. I would value watching the Price Is Right or Donahue when I was not in school.

It's compilcated. Grades 9 and 10 - NO. Grade 9 was a hell year for me - primarily because I was one of the smaller kids, and others were attempting to assert their dominance. As such, I was picked on, bullied, abused....you name it. It wasn't until grade 11 that things finally started falling into place. Grade 12 was the best year in high school for me. It was likely because I was becoming a veteran of the school. As such, I was becoming the hunter as opposed to being the hunted. Joker's Wilde

It was okay.
I was barely in public school though, so that is probably why I didn't hate my high school years.
I was a social outcast and I mostly just found school boring.
