I don't swim. Have had ear problems all my life, and getting water in my ears leads to almost immediate earaches. Have tried plugs to keep water out, but they don't work very good.

The gym. I do 50 laps per session, at least. Depends on how much time I’ve got. Although often I try for 64 laps to make it an even mile.

River, actually. I'm near a river started by natural springs, and it's so much fun just to relax and float downstream, letting the current take you where it will. Of course, you still have to pay some attention to where you're going, or you might float too far and end up with a long walk back to the car. Kids like to play on the sandbars and have wet sand fights. On the riverbanks, there's usually wild grapes or mulberries or raspberries or plums to eat during the summer, so we always gorge on wild fruits and float down the river, and get sunburned. Ah, summer...

I have a lake on my property. I swim all summer. I taught my daughter to swim when she was three. I've been swimming since I was a toddler. I was one of those babies, lol But some of my fondest memories were with my dad up at the lake. He taught me how to dive, and I'd even dive off of his shoulders. I've been able to swim in a lake as well as in the ocean. Very different experiences but anything in water is lots of fun.

I couldn’t vote since, “any water that will sustain me” wasn’t an option.

Don't understand why multiple options aren't available. I'll swim wherever the water is clean enough & temperatures are right... sometimes when the temperatures aren't right.
