James Bond - Oops, my bad. I started writing them out, then I realized I had a word document dedicated to the TV series I have on DVD or HDD and could simply copy and paste a portion of them. Instead of the second HORNBLOWER, how about the 1981 BBC production of THE DAY OFTHE TRIFFIDS? By far still the best version brought to the big or small screen. I also have the 1980s TWILIGHT ZONE TV series, but while I've watched the 1959 version through three or four times, I just can't get past the first episode of the later version.

It's a six parter, so it runs about the same length as a six part DOCTOR WHO serial from Classic Who... 150 minutes approximately.

The dvd player just came. A few days early. It's cheap but I like it. I want to watch some Kolchaks--I got the dvd set in 2005 and a lot of them were reported to be glitchy. Mine works. It is coming to blu-ray this year though. Great news! I wasn't even aware of this. Just did some reading and it will be released by Kino Lorber. Kino does great work, so I'm sure they will do Kolchak no wrong. Looks like October 12th is the offical release date.
