Of old age?
A heart attack?
A stroke?
A brain aneurysm?
Cancer?
Anything natural not involving Kryptonite or another super being?

Interesting. Has that ever been explored in a comic book story?

Interesting. Has that ever been explored in a comic book story? I don`t know, i have never read a Superman comic I just googled if Superman could die from anything other than kryptonite.

Of old age? A heart attack? A stroke? A brain aneurysm? Cancer? Anything natural not involving Kryptonite or another super being? It's always kind of ambiguous. There was "DC One Million," set in the 853rd century, where Superman was living inside the son for who knows how long. And other instances I'm sure where he just keeps trucking along. I don't think it was kept as canon, but then the omniverse kind of made everything canon. Personally I think it would make sense that, biologically, Superman would have a finite shelf life. His powers would slow the aging process, but eventually the physical effects of aging do become a factor. We lose bone density, muscle mass, our tissues don't regenerate as effectively as they used to; all the the things that, for someone who derives not only his superhuman powers, but also his extraordinary health and slowed aging, through his body storing and processing energy from the sun would ultimately be affected by, by virtue of fewer cells handling that process and gradually doing so at a weaker capacity. Add to that him frequently expending that energy in fights and flight and healing and other uses of his powers, which ostensibly means the regenerative nature of his powers which slows the aging process is probably not at its peak during those times; sooner or later that would all catch up with him. And it would probably snowball too. If his body reaches a point, eventually, through natural aging where it starts to become less effective at generating the energy that heals him and slows the aging process, then the diminished protective properties of that energy would mean he's not aging as slowly, meaning his body can become even less efficient at making him super, until eventually he no longer reliably has his powers anymore, or doesn't have them at all; and grows old like anybody else and even dies like anybody else. Say he lived 150 years, but had the physiology of a 60 year old human - that's a pretty significantly slower rate of aging, up to that point, but by that point his powers start to weaken and he might have another 30-40 years left; half of which he's completely powerless, but he still lived roughly twice the average human life span.

Depends some comics have it where so long as he is under a yellow sun a Kryptonian is immortal, the whole cell death/aging thing doesn't apply to Superman due to his body absorbing the yellow sun radiation actually prevents those functions, and Superman I think specifically has been known to absorb so much yellow sun radiation he overcomes over natural weakness's like his weakness to Kryptonite, even the expending all his energy thing doesn't fully tap his powers, it taps his external powers, strength, speed, senses and stuff, but it's like humans if we exhaust all our energy we die, we generally exhaust all our energy to do everything but our basic functions, but we keep enough energy to keep our bodies operating as long as possible, which sometimes works against us, like when we suffocate the brain shuts down motor functions to preserve blood and oxygen to keep our brains alive for as long as we can, but that basically uses up what little chance of saving yourself from suffocating just to give the brain a few extra seconds before it inevitably fails, with Superman his powers as we see them use more energy than those we don't such as his improved health and stuff, so even "drained" of his powers his body is most likely still on a cellular level pristine, unless he is truly drained of all his powers, via prolonged exposure to red sun radiation or being denied any yellow sun energy for exteneded periods of time.
But back to the original question, yes he can so long as he is not exposed to a yellow sun, under a red sun his body functions like a normal humans, he can age, get sick and die, suffocate or be killed as anyone else could.
Though in theory if something like the Black Mercy can effect the brain chemistry of a Kryptonian then so could other things, which probably could like with any other being cause the body to flood itself with the wrong chemicals and bring on other reactions, so like the Red Mercy which causes fear hallucinations could probably produce a nightmare so intense for so long as to over stress even a Kryptonian heart causing a heart attack or something, because it would be Kryptonian physiology fighting itself, which would probably be a loophole to their invulnerability, but he wouldn't have to worry about a cholesterol related heart attack.
Atleast thats what I guess lol.
