What is the title of the ballroom music at the beginning of the poirot classic? (they're about to embark the next day and everybody is having a chat in the hotel's lobby or so). (Communist guy says that in any normal society the Ridgeway heiress would be killed...)

I’ve wondered that too… It’s a great scene. According to IMDb, it’s “I’ve Got a Feelin’ You’re Foolin’,” by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed. I just listened to it at the link above, and yes, that’s it. I do wonder which orchestra’s version it is or if it were done especially for the movie. (Probably the latter. No, this will not become a Sleuth singer. This will not become a Sleuth singer. This will not become a Sleuth singer…)

brillant, that's it! I think there is not much sense in looking for any specific recording. With the production's budget and all the stars given, they'll probb have had their own studio recording.
