I think that some people forget or don't realize that because we have state laws AND federal laws and each state is very individual that if you just visit a couple states that really doesn't tell you much about the Country as a whole.
There are a couple things in the video that I know don't apply top every state. The one that stuck out the most is gravy on breakfast. I have ordered breakfast a lot in my life and I have never been asked if I wanted gravy on my breakfast, unless it was a food that specifically comes with gravy. I never order that, so I forget what it is even called. Another one is that it depends on what state you are in if there is full nudity and alcohol allowed to be served. In fact, I didn't even know that some states don't allow full nudity if serving alcohol.
For people outside the U.S. are the laws the same for your entire country? In the U.S. many laws are different in each state.

I didn't even know that some states don't allow full nudity if serving alcohol. Some strip clubs get around that with BYOB. Or so I've heard...

The rules about this vary from state to state as mentioned by other people who commented about the video on Youtube. Oregon came up a lot, though I am not from Oregon. All the strip clubs in my city are full nudity and they serve alcohol. I have never even heard of BYOB.

But I do understand it, at least as far as why it varies from state to state. I assume the states where full nudity is only allowed if alcohol isn't served is probably because they think people will get too riled up or just trying to enforce rules against indecency because of their personal "moral" objections.

We have local bylaws that deal with minor issues (and sometimes get forgotten) but I don’t know if that’s why these laws still exist.

I have no experience with any commercial establishment that combines nudity with serving alcohol. But, this is California, and I doubt that such a regulation by the state exists. There could be local ordinances that are in place.
I have never been asked if I want gravy with my breakfast order.

I don't know about strip clubs but I've been to a restaurant in Baltimore where you bring your own alcohol. It's really tough to get a liquor license there.

There is also one on the outskirts of Madison that has full nudity and serves alcohol and there was another one in Madison that also served alcohol and was full nude, though that one closed last year due to shootings.

If I tried to pass a law dictating which of your tires you can piss on, I would be laughed right out of the office before I even got to the part about keeping your right hand on the car.

If they don't serve alcohol for the reasons you assumed, they wouldn't allow BYOB for the same reasons. I was doing my best to try and think of a reason why the laws exist and considering the U.S. has notoriously been hypocritical and uptight about sex I can only assume the reasons have something to do with that on some level. Otherwise I am at a loss. There has to be some reason for it, but I can't find anywhere where it points to what the reason is. All I can do is speculate. There are other strange laws on the books in some states regarding stuff like sex toys and stuff like that. There are states that still have laws on the books saying you can't have a sex toy in your car even if you just bought it and are driving home. There are also states that still have laws on the books that prohibit dancing ala Footloose. Same reasons. They just aren't enforced anymore.

You're being dramatic just to make a thread. The state laws don't mean.much except for marijuama laws and variations in taxes.

If I tried to pass a law dictating which of your tires you can piss on, I would be laughed right out of the office before I even got to the part about keeping your right hand on the car. I didn’t bother looking into these at the time but it seem like that one is a bit of ye olde fake news. 2) It is legal for a man to urinate in public, as long it is against the rear offside wheel of his motor vehicle and his right hand is on the vehicle.
Although this is widely reported as fact, this is actually not true. There is no general law forbidding urination in public, although it is often an offence under local bylaws. The same is true of the oft-cited ‘law’ that pregnant women are allowed to urinate in a policeman’s helmet. There is no law allowing or forbidding such a practice, but local authorities are expected to exercise discretion in these cases. So, while there is no law forbidding a pregnant woman from urinating into a policeman’s helmet, a policeman is unlikely to offer her such an opportunity.www.insurancerevolution.co.uk/blog/weird-british-driving-laws-truth-or-myth/

You're being dramatic just to make a thread. The state laws don't mean.much except for marijuama laws and variations in taxes. That wasn't my intention at all. Don't pretend you can read my mind, it will get you nowhere. Age of consent is also state by state. Some states it is 16, some 17, many 18. There are also specifics such as in some states they allow a 3 year age range limit. This is all interesting stuff, so I don't know why you are being so critical of me making a thread about it. State laws mean quite a bit and to know them will keep you out of trouble. gun control laws, custody laws, divorce laws, motor carrier laws, business laws and marriage laws vary state to state, among others. Another interesting one is incest laws.
