As an adolescent, I had a crush on Ronnie Spector, and still do somewhat. Pretty easy to see why here:

She's very marmite to people though, my wife cannot stand her voice and many view her as just a screamer. If you like her you may want to check out Scotland's Maggie Bell and her old band "Stone The Crows", she was considered the UK's Janis.
