I think when it comes to hated films on this site I noticed the Transformers films comes up a lot. I dont recall anyone on here remotely liking any of the films. I seen the 5 films I didnt hate em but I didnt like them either. For me they are OK but nothing special.

Age of Extinction was one of the most difficult movies for me to sit through in theaters. It took a lot of effort to force myself not to leave before the credits rolled. I didn’t even bother watching the fifth one. Bumblebee was ok.

I can’t say the same for AoE.

The first one wasn't bad but it wasn't that good either. The rest of the movies in the franchise were reallly bad.

Does the 1986 movie count?

I liked the first installment. It had a more focused narrative in comparison to the sequels and some intense action. The following installments fluctuated in terms of quality, but the action sequences were still good. Bumblebee was thankfully smaller in scale and overall decent.

I saw the first one-the cartoon-in a theater. I didnt think it was good-compared to the series but the 2007 and 2009 films are terrible. A bad adaptation of the tv series and very stupid in many ways. I just cant bring myself to watch any more of them. I hate the sfx choreography--the second one was a little better for that but the designs and the way action was shot was really irritating. And the human stuff was completely retarded. That guy distracting the guard with his ass scene.

I genuinely like the first movie from 2007 a lot. And Bumblebee is good too. The Last Knight is objectively a bad movie but it’s so nutty that I enjoyed myself. Dark of the Moon is a long sit but it has an amazing third act. The less said about Revenge of the Fallen, the better. Never bothered with the fourth one.

I enjoy hate watching them.
What can I say, as a kid raised on G1, how can I turn down 5 full feature length TF movies?? They aren't snuff films, I can enjoy them enough.

Does the 1986 movie count? I was referring to the new By films. The animated one seems well liked. I never seen it though.

I've only seen the first one (outside of the '86 animated film). It was okay but I couldn't sit through the rest of them that's for sure. I like the clean look of the Transformers from the old animated series. All of the various mechanical bits, wires, hoses make it difficult to tell even what their faces look like.

I sort of like the 2007 movie and the Bumblebee spin-off, but the rest aren't good at all.

The first three are enjoyable popcorn flicks but Age of Extinction felt so disconnected from the rest especially the whole nanobot Transformers fiasco that was completely ignored in The Last Knight.

They're generally crap. But I will invest a couple of hours at home watching them when they come out. Mindless, slightly diverting, spectacle. Bumblebee, however, was great.
Might enjoy more if it wasn't for Optimus Prime...the sanctimonious prick

I stayed away from all except for Bumblebee, which I enjoyed.

The first and Bumblebee I like a lot and I don't mind Dark of the Moon, the others I will probably leave on if I need background noise.

I really liked the first one when it came out in 2007. It’s been quiet a while though since I’ve watched it. I remember being disappointed with 2 and 3. I then liked the Mark Wahlberg semi-reboot but thought the sequel to it was bad. Bumblebee was okay.
