It’s all fantasy and almost western fictional narratives have straight white male heroes. What’s so horrible with an occasional queer one? And Loki ain’t even a hero, nor human. He’s an alien villain in story where to quote Billy Preston, they “let the bad guy win ever once and awhile.” Because it's not true that his sex is fluid. If you wana have a character that's like that, then just create another one. Leave the established characters alone

This isn't like Steve Rodgers deciding he'd rather be a woman out of nowhere, this is the god of mischief who already has a history in the MCU of changing form for self-indulgence as well as to mess with people. Precedent has been set historically as well as in the comics, it isn't some 'radical agenda' or whatever by Disney of all organizations. I don't understand why this is a talking point in 2021. Do you really think that's going to be the main plot of the show? What's the worst that could happen, they have him turn female and springboard the character into a new level of storytelling opportunities? What a shame that would be. Well, look at the forced politics of FAWS. Honestly, wasnt expecting that

Well, look at the forced politics of FAWS. Honestly, wasnt expecting that The showrunners weren't expecting it, either. The whole thing had to be rewritten as it was originally supposed to be about a pandemic. You can see how they decided that would be in poor taste considering the events of the last 15 months. Anyway it was a discussion worth having in 2021 about the transition of the title of Captain America from all-American white guy to a black man. I thought it suited the times well, and though it was admittedly clunky and heavy handed at times, it never felt outside of the scope of the story.
