The toughest single game accomplishment is what Mario Lemieux did in 1988:
There are five ways a goal can be scored in an NHL game...Mario Lemieux scored five goals against the Devils...all five different ways!
Even strength, power play, short handed, penalty shot, open net.
Lemieux scored those five goals in one game. I still shake my head in amazement that that happened.

I'd have to go with a pitcher tossing a perfect game. It's so difficult that in over 140 years of MLB it's only occurred 23 times.

10 wickets in an innings. Twice in over 2000 Tests matches over 140 years......
There's something magic about a 147 though. 36 pots in a row, with absolutely no help from any other player.

10 wickets in an innings in cricket and there's nothing else even close.

10 wickets in an innings, all clean bowled!
Only one man has ever done that. What was his name (quiz)?

Why was running under a 4 minute mile included in 'game' accomplishments? And then the host said the best runners all do it.
Some of these are just random number scenarios. Scoring 100 points in an NBA game could have been scoring at least 80, 70, even 60 points. The equivalent in the NHL would be Sittler's 10 point game. That was also the last time a player scored 2 hat tricks in a game. Rushing for 250 yards could just as easily be rushing for 275 yards.

Agreed, it should be some kind of set criteria like breaking a statistical single-game record in any given sport along with perfect games in baseball.
