A look at Bruce Willis's latest upcoming direct-to-DVD film coming out in July.
Wikipedia:
"Midnight in the Switchgrass is an upcoming American crime thriller film directed by Randall Emmett in his directorial debut, from a screenplay by Alan Horsnail. It stars Emile Hirsch, Megan Fox, Bruce Willis, Lukas Haas, Sistine Stallone (Sylvester's daughter), Colson Baker and Michael Beach.
Based on the true story of Texas' most dangerous serial killer. FBI agent Karl Helter (Bruce Willis) and his partner Rebecca Lombardi (Megan Fox) are very close to busting a sex-trafficking ring. When they realize their investigation has crossed the path of a brutal serial killer, they team up with Texas Ranger Byron Crawford (Emile Hirsch) who has years on this case. When Rebecca herself is abducted by their target and her life hangs in the balance, Karl and Byron have precious few hours to piece together the last clues and put an end to the infamous 'Truck Stop Killer'."

Robert Ben Rhoades was a terrifying individual and his crimes could make for an interesting movie a la Zodiac. And they still find a way to get Megan Fox in a skimpy outfit;the wiki synopsis says that she and Willis are trying to bust a sex trafficking ring.

I keep wanting to call it "Midnight in the Sawgrass" for some reason.

I keep wanting to call it "Midnight in the Sawgrass" for some reason. It does roll off the tongue better.

"Willis stars in the serial killer movie as an FBI agent who teams up with Fox to solve a series of murders in Florida. Despite being top-billed in the film, however, Willis barely appears in it, with critics accusing him of sleepwalking through the part." That figures.

Im betting its going to be bad but lets face it, Im going to see it anyway. We mock these direct-to-DVD Bruce Willis films, but yet people still watch them anyway. I think Cosmic Sin ended up in the Top 10 rentals on Netflix when it came out. Out of Death was in the Top 10 rentals for iTunes. I guess watching a direct-to-DVD Bruce Willis film is like looking at a car accident. You shouldn't look at it, but yet you can't help it. www.yahoo.com/entertainment/quiet-place-part-ii-leads-233609329.html

4/10. Yeah it's not that good. But honestly, I expected it to be worse.
