I believe both Barry Sanders and Jamaal Charles rushed for 5.0 YPC. Those might not be the two highest, but there are very, very few RBs with that many yards per carry.

I believe both Barry Sanders and Jamaal Charles rushed for 5.0 YPC. Those might not be the two highest, but there are very, very few RBs with that many yards per carry. Both Jim Brown and Bo Jackson averaged 5.4 ypc

I'm seeing Jamaal Charles at 5.4 and Jim Brown at 5.2. Of guys with 750 or more NFL carries from 1950 and beyond, the only guys at 5.0 and above are Charles, Brown, Mercury Morris, Gayle Sayers, Sanders, and Derrick Henry.
