Ugh...I'm sorry. It's possible you guys may need to a build a wall, clearly using the Atlantic as a moat isn't enough.

I happen to think the whole thing is daft and I’m not the type who gets emotional about royalty but if all beliefs are to be respected why not respect royalists? They could have surrounded it with portraits of leaders who threw us out of their countries.

He should just be ignored and told to shut up.

He should just be ignored and told to shut up. I’m a reasonable fellow so if he’s at all concerned about those portraits of Queen Liz on our bank notes I’m happy to take them off him and soothe his pain.

The Queen “is the head of state and a symbol of what is best about the UK,” UK Education Secretary Gavin Williamson tweeted. “During her long reign, she has worked tirelessly to promote British values of tolerance, inclusivity & respect around the world.”
Considering the UKKK is 89% white that comment from the education secretary might not promote the false narrative he hoped. He is right tho. The thousand year old clueless queen does promote the total lack of tolerance and inclusivity england is proud of having. It will never cease to amaze me how many white folks pretend living somewhere thats overwhelmingly white doesn't mean they are racist. Embrace your hatred of non whites. You'll still be racist but at least you won't be lying to yourself.

Wow go to the UK and see a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Shocking. I should invite him to stay at my house. We don’t have any pictures of her hanging on our walls.

Yeah, Britain seems to have been a bit better about slavery than many cultures from what I have read. To be fair to anyone who has read into this much more though I haven't read up on it as much. I am more familiar with slavery in ancient Rome, Greece, Middle East etc. and the Americas, both of which seem to be the worst cases of slavery in history. Though taking slaves from other countries seems to be more an American thing. In Ancient times it was more of an invading country making the people of the invaded country their slaves.

We were pretty much into slavery for a long time and sent them to the Americas to help build our wealth. The BLM protests also targeted a few statues in the UK which is why a statue of Thomas Guy in Guy’s Hospital had to be boarded up (he had part ownership of a company involved in the slave trade). The ancient type of slavery was used against the Irish if they became bothersome and tried to throw us out of their country.
