Slick Ric took to Youtube and Twitter to show his displeasure towards The King for ignoring him
Bron just acted like Ric was a nobody
Who's right in this situation The King or the 16 Time World Champion?

It takes almost no effort to show a little courtousy. LeBron could've given a thumbs up. Anything.

Per Ric -
'Flashback Friday Brought To You By The Lakers. LeBron Should Have Walked Over And Shook My Hand. Considering He Told Me I Was The Founder Of Swag, I Was Actually Going To Give Him The Rolex He Said He Grew Up On, But He Didn’t Even Acknowledge Me. Sad Day For A Huge @lakers Fan.'

When they were down 3-1
Bron wore 'Taker's T-Shirt and 'Taker said he wanted to meet him

Ric Flair is a has-been who played a fake sport. An actor pretending to wrestle. That's who he was. A guy playing a role.
James is one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports. Glad the real King didn't give two shits about Flair.

Glad the real King didn't give two shits about Flair. I'd like to think Bron wouldn't disrespect Hollywood Hogan like this
Maybe Bron was upset they didn't roll out the greatest sports entertainer of All-Time
We went nuts when the below video was posted at a Pens/Flyers war - 7:17 of the final clip - what a treat to be blessed with The Hulkster

Flair is a great wrestler but such a wanker. He had a similar complaint against Bruno Sammartino, who supposedly blew him off when he went to introduce himself. Bruno explains "Waah1 Waah! Baby boy! He tried to introduce himself while I was talking to kids. I told him to wait. More and more kids came. He got impatient and walked off." Bruno's comments about Flair in general were quite amusing. He was never impressed by Flair as a bloke and thought his drawing power was over stated. "If Flair was such a big draw then how come every time we wrestled on the same card I was in the main event and he was wrestling some nobody in the midcard?"

Bruno is a prime example of somebody who benefited from his time era
What a boooorrrrriiiinnnng grappler
Are you a fan? If so awesome - to each their own - just curious as to why one would root/cheer for Bruno
Can you explain the intrigue?
Slick Ric was tremendous in the ring (Makes me laugh how Hart rips him saying he had the same match all the time - I love listening to that bitter jaded martyr - so entertaining), but also one of the best promo men of all-time
I did find is sad/comical for Flair to whine and cry about being ignored by LeBron. I wonder how many fans over the years he ignored? He sounds like such a butthurt fanboy - it's pretty comical. Or maybe he believes in his head what a mega entertainer he is and can't believe somebody would ignore him?

I prefer Flair in ring. Not even close. But Bruno probably has a point so far as drawing power was concerned. The main reason they didn't go with Hogan vs Flair for WM8 was that no one cared about that match when they had it at house shows. Sid, in WWE in 1992, was a bigger draw than Flair.
So far as human beings go Bruno >>>>>>>>> Flair. And I'd certainly rather listen to a Bruno interview than Flair talking whatever shit someone's paying him to say that day.
So opinion on Flair: probably my favourite in ring worker ever and certainly my favourite promo guy. But not a great guy and his opinions have changed so many times depending on who's writing the cheques that his stories mean absolutely nothing to me.

For the record - the definitive Sports Entertainer list of All-Time is: 1. Hulk Hogan 2. John Cena 3. Ric Flair 4. Steve Austin 5. Randy Savage 6. The Rock 7. Sting 8. The Ultimate Warrior 9. Undertaker 10. Roddy Piper 11. Goldberg 12. Bret Hart 13. HBK 13. Lex Luger 14. Kevin Nash 15. Scott Hall 16. Sid Vicious 17. Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat 18. Curt 'Mr. Perfect' Hennig 19. Ravishing Rick Rude 20. Vader 21. Jake 'The Snake' Roberts 22. Bam Bam Bigelow 23. Kerry Von Erich 24. The Honkey Tonk Man 25. Andre the Giant
** Edit - I forgot The Big Show - we're going to slide him in at 15 and bump everybody else down which unfortunately kicks Andre off the list - nice knowin' ya Bub

Not a bad list. Hogan, in ring, is one of the most under rated workers of the 80s. People look at 1988-89 output and call him lazy. In reality from 1984-87 he worked his arse off every night. Then, in 1987, starting to feel creaks and pains in his body he realised that there were certain spots that would make the crowd pop every time and so he started doing them every match and not expending so much energy. This prolonged his career and allowed him to still be wrestling at a respectable level well into his 50s.
Glad to see Luger in there too. And I've always been a mark for Sid.

Hogan can actually wrestle a bit
There's a match out there on Youtube with Hogan wrestling The Great Muta in Japan - I always tell people who think Hogan couldn't wrestle to watch that clip
His character wasn't supposed to be a hybrid Dean Malenko/Dynamite Kid/Bret Hart technical grappler - it was supposed to be a big brute and later as a fan favorite an American hero who wouldn't give up or quit and dug down deep to win his matches while being an inspiration to fans as a larger than life persona. Save the armbars and drop toe holds for the little guys
He carried Warrior through their match at 'Mania too
Luger and Sid were both very instrumental to the business - main eventers for years - big fan of both

WWE Mount Rushmore Bruno Samartini Superstar Billy Graham Steve Austin Brock Lesnar I'm excluding Flair cause his best work was done in WCW Tag Teams Valiant Brothers Edge & Christian Wild Samoans British Bulldogs Women Trish Stratus Lit a Sasha Banks Vickie James Dark Side of the Ring just did a piece on The Dynamite Kid you might enjoy since you're a British Bulldogs fan
Everybody knows the story - still a pretty chilling piece of a bully who self destructs and loses everything
I've got them in my Top 5 as well - I enjoy old school wrestling even if it was before my time - I enjoy Youtubing old school matches
I go -
1. The Road Warriors 2. Rock & Roll Express 3. The Steiner Brothers 4. Hart Foundation
5. British Bulldogs 6. Midnight Express 7. The Outsiders 8. Freebirds 9. Demolition 10. King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd
11. The Twin Towers 12. The Natural Disasters 13. Harlem Heat 14. The Skyscrapers 15. Doom
I'm incredibly biased - I wasn't a giant fan of WWF during the Attitude Era - more of a WCW/nWo fan during the Monday Night Wars - so it's kind of unfair of me to leave off the likes of Edge and Christian, The Dudley Boys, Hardy Boys, etc - but I really didn't like the product that much and completely stopped watching after 2003 because the whole product went into the crapper. Or maybe I just grew up and it stopped appealing to me. Would just tune in to see the legends make an appearance
