Hey, MrFurious, it won't surprise you that 8 of 19 EPL clubs will have betting companies on the front of their shirts next season, with Norwich yet to confirm. They keep banging on about betting in football but that's almost half of all clubs striking deals with firms. The number was 8 in 20/21 and 10 in 19/20.
Betting firms seem to be unimpressed by sleeve sponsorship, preferring instead to have their brand slathered across the shirt, although Burnley have been sponsored by LoveBet on both chest and arms for 2 seasons now and will be again next season.
Even buying a replica shirt involves sponsorship branding. Almost impossible to buy one without it. Last season, official replica shirts you could buy advert-free were :
'Celtic Men's 20/21 home shirt with No Sponsor' (from £60)
and, er, I'm damned if there were anymore that I could locate and believe me I searched - just nothing.
Kids' shirts I found easier to locate, with this quote summing things up in a rather scheming fashion, with even kiddies not getting off totally scot-free
It all started in 1979 with Hitachi being first to sponsor...Liverpool, but we forgive you, man.

I hardly ever bet and this is no exception
I tip France to win. Italy looked tasty the other day though.

No I haven't backed 'The Lamp Post' aka Olivier Giroud for the Golden Boot.
Have I backed three obscure European footballers that you've never heard of....absolutely.

An interesting fact regarding Patrick Schick, few seasons back, I recall him failing his medical for a proposed move to Juventus due a condition relating to his heart. Guarantee his ticker is in a better place than mine as he takes the lead in the Golden Boot Market...

Kane out to 16/1. Is that all??? You'd want at least 80s. What a joke.
