I don't mean for you, but one that you had specially trained to take to places like schools and medical facilities for pet therapy? I guess Golden Retrievers and Labs make the best therapy dogs, but I'd like something a bit smaller like a Corgi. I'd try adopting a younger dog from a rescue with the right temperament before going to a breeder. I really want to try and avoid a breeder if at all possible. www.animalplanet.com/pets/10-best-small-dog-breeds-for-therapy-work/ Golden Doodles are supposedly great therapy dogs. They don't stay in rescues long though.

All pets are therapy pets. It is the reason we live with cats and dogs. The companionship. The unconditional love. The joy of watching them play. Organic blood pressure reducers.

Oh, I agree completely. I get more from my animals than most people. Therapy dogs that visit institutions have special certification, though. I was just curious if anyone could tell me their experience with that.

I want you to forcefully express your disapproval."

Catman was ready to train Miko to be a certified therapy cat, and then COVID hit. And now that Catwoman is home, Catman is less motivated to go through the training and certification process.
