Discuss today’s action here. giants playing like a 1st place squad today. Honestly I don’t see how the Giants are ahead of the Dodgers and Padres - their lineup isn’t very good. Their pitching has been good, particularly Gausman who’s having another stellar start today, but I just don’t see how this team has won so many games.

I know you don't see them much where you live, but you're really not giving the Giants hitters enough credit. This team is now a MAJOR hitting squad. They have already hit 100 home runs, more than anyone else. They will absolutely make a pitcher grind out at-bats, very Red Sox like in that manner. There has only been 2 times this year where a starting pitcher has gone 7 innings against the Giants, a very impressive stat. You might not be familiar with guys like Steven Dugger, Austin Slater, and Lamount Wade, but all of these guys have been major contributors to this Giants lineup. They can really hit.

I guess I’m underestimating them, but I’m just surprised, they don’t really have any standout players other than Buster Posey. They just seem to be playing above their talent level, and a lot of their lineup is aging, Posey, Belt, Crawford. Given how much talent the Dodgers and Padres have, I’m just surprised to see the Giants ahead of them.

T.J. Zeuch is back to the major again. This time against the big bad Yankees. Will he get clobbered, again like on April 14th? We will see.

Chance to see what Mike Trout, the face of MLB, looks like. Many never see him, and most people don't know who he is.

I kind of feel bad for him that the general population don't know him like they know LeBron and Brady. The Angels making the playoff would be the first step for him.

Yeah the Angels are just a trash organization - Trout is by far the best player in MLB, and Shohei Ohtani is one of the most exciting and unique players in baseball as well, and yet the Angels are still garbage.

The 6,7, and 8 guys in the lineup, backup catcher Chris Casali, Steven Duggar, and Mauricio Dubon combined to go 8-12 with two doubles, two triples, a home run, and 7 RBIs.

Very clumsy base running for the Blue Jays ran themselves into a triple play. I may have seen at most 3 triple plays live before this year. Now I have seen 2 in about a week.

Yes that was just atrocious base running. Not only run bad, they field terribly. Botched a double play ball allowing a run without getting a out.

Michael Brantley with a 3 run blast to put the Astros up 3-0 on the White Sox!! Should be a fun series.

23 road L’s in a row for the Diamondbacks. Not counting a position player, they have 15 pitchers with negative WAR right now. Through 70 games, they are 20-50.

I never thought they would be so awful - they have some decent hitters, how the fuck are they so awful? I know their pitching is no good but still, that’s atrocious.

Wow, Melancon blows the save for the Padres - he’s been excellent this season, rare for him to shit the bed. Reds up 4-2 in the top of the 9th, Padres were up 2-0 when the inning started.
