"I want revenge. I want them to know that death is coming, and there's nothing they can do to stop it. I want them to feel our grief, and know that's the last thing they will ever feel. And I know you want it too."
“I’ve not changed. I just try to keep a lid on it.”

I haven't seen Last Blood. Looks more like a Rambo film in name without a lot of the Rambo trademarks.

It's like a tone poem but plays out like a fever dream, curt yet lyrical at the same time. Rambo gets to be a ranch-hand but know his happiness cannot last.

Garbage movie. It felt like a straight to video movie that somehow got a cinema release.
The series should have ended with Rambo 4. His character came full circle.

Terrible movie.
Granted I am only a fan of First Blood, but this is bottom of the barrel stuff that doesn't even feel like a Rambo movie. It feels like Taken 4 starring Stallone.

It's decent but nothing special. For being the final one you'd think they'd go out on more of a bang.

There was a few bangs at the tunnel climax. It was like 'Platoon' (1986) meets 'Tremors' (1990).

It was definitely awesome, but short and all that action only took place at the end.

True. I felt like Rambo was meditating throughout this movie, and reconnecting with society, but this was compelling to me. He could take down that punk pimp army in his sleep, even at pension eligibility age.

6/10 Easily my least favorite Rambo film. And it really does not feel like a Rambo film either. However to take it as an basic action film its pretty good with an explosive finale.

In my review for the Classic Film board's weekly thread "What classics did you see..." I wrote:
John Rambo has retired and is “keeping a lid” on his hate and rage while ranching in a serene remote spot in Arizona while helping raise his housekeeper’s sweet daughter. When the girl runs off to Mexico to find her missing father, she finds only bad luck and trouble. In revenge, Rambo lures an army of sex traffickers back to his ranch where he has set traps and proceeds to kill them all in as gory a fashion as possible. Any good that can be found in this movie lies in the build up from the Rambo legend and backstory which began in 1982 and in Sylvester Stallone’s acting and screen presence, which is considerable. Fans of Stallone and any who want to follow John Rambo through his old age (and Stallone makes himself look old, indeed) will want to check this out. Otherwise, not recommended for casual movie watchers.

Not that bad. It was ridiculously fun to see it with my dad, brothers, uncles, and grandpa in theaters. They were all into it and we talked about it after for awhile.
Good stuff.
