They are the least talented team left out of the Cavs, Spurs, and Warriors, but they are the toughest.
Last night the Wizards were clearly more talented physically, but Boston out hustled them.
There were times the C's took a 13 point lead and in less than 30 seconds it was cut to 6. Which shows how good Washington can be when they hustle. Washington just played lethargic. As if they were at a scrimmage and Boston was playing like it was Game 7 of the playoffs.
I'm not saying Boston can beat the Cavs in a 7 Game series, but it goes to Game 6 minimum, maybe Game 7. Strictly because the Cavs will play like Washington a few games, going through the motions, and Boston will play scrappy and fight.
If Boston had traded for a Paul George earlier this season, or SOME extra talent, I'd pick them to win. I love their enthusiasm. The rest of the East just bowed down to James.

I don't understand your post at all. You're praising the C's, but it's really a backhanded compliment. You make it sound like anyone would blow them off the floor if they just tried. Washington isn't more talented than Boston, top to bottom. Wall is probably better than anyone the C's have, and Beal was a tough matchup for IT (let's face it, anyone's a tough matchup when the guy is 5'9"). Other than that, I'd give the edge in overall talent to the C's. Their depth showed last night, Kelly O frickin lynyk took over down the stretch. The only reason this series was close was the C's weakness on the glass.
That being said, unless Cleveland is incredibly rusty, I expect them to make short work of the C's. I'm a C's fan and I love watching them grit out games like this, but they're not better than Cleveland right now.

Sadly, I see Boston being swept, at best, going 5 games. I cant see 6. If it does go back to Cleveland, and 6 games, Cle wins in 6. I cant see Boston winning this.

I'm saying they have a solid bench, but they have to play great to beat a top tier team, whereas a top tier team can half ass and best Boston unless they fight hard.

I agree with that, but I don't think the Wizards are a top tier team.

Wonder how getting the #1 pick will affect the team's play and some of the guards.

Wonder how getting the #1 pick will affect the team's play and some of the guards. I was wondering this myself. Probably not too much, considering trade rumors are always swirling around this team. Frankly the C's have nothing to lose at this point, I just hope they put up a good fight in the ECF.
