What a strange run of 4 films, nearly all of which feel nearly foreign to one another, & yet that somehow gives it an imperfectly perfect balance.
Godzilla 2014 - stoic monster movie with a pulse.
Kong Skull Island - MCU headliners on a break, roller coaster of a movie.
King of the Monsters - mega mash of monsters, & little else.
Godzilla vs. Kong - rumble in the concrete jungle.
