Came out at the Moscow Film Festival on June 23 before releasing wide. Widely considered to be one of the "better" of the franchise, it still got dismal reviews. But what did y'all think?

The first 90 minutes are pretty disposable but the last hour is actually exciting at times.

It didn’t irritate me as much as Revenge of the Fallen did even if there’s a lot of padding. Something about Optimus Prime meeting Buzz Aldrin made me smile though. A lot of the human cast seemed wasted. I liked Megan Fox better (in the first movie anyway) than the new chick. Not sure why Patrick Dempsey or John Malkovich was in this movie. John Turturro and Alan Tudyk made me laugh a few times. The big invasion scene is insane and the third act battle has some amazing action. I was mad they killed Ironhide so unceremoniously. I kind of wish they made Shockwave the main villain instead of Sentinel Prime.

I skipped it. Two Bay Transformers was enough. I guess I could check out robot clips on youtube.

In fact let me just shorten this because your comment is hurting my head, I don't agree with a single word you've just posted. You're seriously downplaying having Spock play a prime in a Transformers movie, seriously?

Look we may not have the best online history of agreeing, but even your twin sister would look at you fearfully if she had just read your comment dismissing Leonard fucking Nimoy playing Sentinel Prime. Megan Fox you missed but Leo you could've done without...

Movie was pretty cool to look at in 3D.

It was better than Revenge of the Fallen, but that's not saying much. I find it kind of humorous that it retrofits President Kennedy's ambition to go to the Moon with the Ark. Sentinel Prime was an interesting addition to the Decepticon faction, and voiced to perfection by Leonard Nimoy. The whole third act drowns itself in non-stop action, but give or take, the battle of Chicago did have some spectacular action.
