I've only seen the first two so I won't vote. I preferred Terminator 3.

I’ve only seen 2 of these so I don’t feel right answering as I didn’t really care for T3 or Salvation.

3 and 5 are too retready, and 4 is barely a Terminator movie. Dark Fate strikes a balance, and is at least competently made. No Austin Powers boobie gags or COPS references or Transformers. It's not T1 or 2, but it's easily the least bad one later. Dark Fate was also a retread, just with the added negative of killing off John Connor Alien 3 style Compared to making him second fiddle to Jake Sully, or turning him into a Terminator out of nowhere, they put the fucker out of his misery.

I mean, do you really want present-day Edward Furlong showing up and making everybody sad anyway?

It gets a lot of hate but I like 'Salvation' the most. Not a great movie but I think it's the best one.

Genisys tried to do something different while alluding strongly to the older movies. It didn't work, but at least it wasn't just another rehash of the same story. So I'll go with that one.

No, you're right he wasn't turned into a Terminator or a second fiddle to Jake Sully... (although Sam Worthington would love you for thinking he's a good enough actor for one to play second fiddle for which he just isn't) he was just replaced him with some random Lolita from the other side of Trump's wall from out of nowhere for woke points. Buff, don't pretend that Dark Fate was any less stupider with regards to John Connor than the other sequels, post as if you have a clue what's going on around you or don't bother.

Terminator 3 but it lacked the Cameron touch. It felt cheap. Like a 1960s B sci-fi movie about aliens in the desert. As the base is attacked they fly off so most the action doesn't have to be shown. But it also felt less complicated--Arnie Terminator was less human in behavior. Except for the groan-worthy "talk to the hand." Too many trips to the well--but it had some things going for it. I didn't bother with Dark Fate. I hated the 4th one.
I liked 5 better than 4.

I voted T3, though I liked the T-800's storyline in Dark Fate. I just can't get past T3's fate erasing T2's ending.

Rise of the Machines is barely better than the rest of the sequels. With the exception of Arnold, the rest of the leads were miscast.
Christian Bale was totally wrong for role of John Connor in Salvation. Awful casting.
I couldn't get past the whole ridiculous "Pops" thing in Genisys. Again, the three leads were miscast.
Dark Fate is a mess and Hamilton looked like Steven Tyler.

Full Disclosure, I've never seen SALVATION, but considering there's only 1 movie in Christian Bale's career where I actually liked him - I feel safe saying even if I had seen it, I wouldn't have voted for it.

Despite Christian Bale, SALVATION is very good. To me, the real lead actor is Sam Worthington. So you're safe, watch the movie. Bale was a good John Connor anyway. Not great, but good nonetheless.
Genisys had a great cast, and the "Pops" thing was fresh and original, it was brilliant.

Genisys was actually my favourite of the bunch, that I've seen so far. Only half the reason for skipping Salvation was Bale (the only movie I like him in MIO IN THE LAND OF FARAWAY, and I think he was about 12 in it), the other half was just that the trailer didn't get me excited for the movie. I may still go back and watch it one of these days.
