Which of Scorsese's two 80s black comedies do you think is better?
I'll say After Hours do its sheer uniqueness. I like King of Comedy as well, but it has a lot of Taxi Driver in it, which only serves to remind how much better that film is.

I did a fairly recent re-watch of After Hours and I liked it as much as I remembered. Need to do the same for King of Comedy; right now I remember liking it a bit more, but should give it another look to see if that still holds true.

After Hours, actually my favorite Scorsese film.

The King of Comedy
After Hours is more creative, but I don't think it is nearly as compelling.

The King of Comedy
I like both a lot though.

Tough decision, but I went with The King of Comedy. Still, After Hours is a blast from start to finish.
