What are some memorable movie moments where a character facing death begs/pleads for their life before they get killed/saved/spared by another character? A thread like this has potential spoilers so fair warning.

Jake was pleading so hard not to get blown away by Princess Leia, he even took off his sunglasses to make his case.
Anyone feel free to post an image from that scene. Thanks. 😎👍

"Hello buddy boy. Dick Jones here. I guess you're on your knees about now, begging for your life. Pathetic. You don't feel so cocky now do you Bob? You know what the tragedy is here Bob? We could have been friends."

Not sure if I would describe it as begging or pleading, but the sight of a desperate son (Chris Penn), crying out towards his dad (Christopher Walken), having just realized the latter has only brought him out to the fields at night, to get rid of his own son, all part of his evil scheme, in order to wipe out any potential witnesses that could hurt his business. And it is such a cold and brutal shot, and also having later on, read upon the real story, it is even worse, but still, this scene hits so hard, seeing all these young men, getting picked out one by one, lured into the fields, and where the grave has already been dug, and yeah, a dark and haunting crime-drama, which features some incredible and powerful acting performances and an unforgettable atmosphere.
