Marlins made a trade with the Jays - sent Corey Dickerson and Adam Cimber to the Jays in exchange for Joe Panik and a minor league pitcher.

Dickerson is a solid outfielder, underrated player IMO, I have a feeling he will help the Blue Jays out. Cimber will go into the Jays bullpen. I have a feeling this won’t be the last trade the Fishies make, their season is falling apart and they will likely deal more guys.

Ohtani with 2 dingers, up to a league leading 28 on the season. He’s amazing, unfortunately the Angels suck aside from him and the injured Trout, their pitching is among the worst in MLB. Yankees up 10-5 on them.

Coming into tonight, the Marlins had the best run differential in the NL East - - but they were also 8.5 games out of first place and 12.5 out of the wild card. It's a mixed message but probably the better way to go, unless there are some guys who are coming off the IL soon who could change things around.

Snell couldn't go tonight for the Pads, so now it's a bullpen game, but the Reds are also on their fourth pitcher through five innings.
In the post from a couple of days ago about terms that you don't hear anymore in sports, somebody put up "long reliever". Don't understand why a guy who can go four innings in a pinch isn't valuable anymore - - maybe it's because regular starters can barely go five anymore.

The Brewers rotation seems to have emerged from nowhere, the pitchers that are having great years this year were just okay in the past it seems, while their hitters such as Yelich aren’t doing much. Interesting team.
