Or roast jalapenos or hot hatch/Anaheim peppers.
Unfortunately, my broiler died. I bought the replacement igniter, but dropped it on the tile floor and it's fragile, so it might be unwise to install it and have it not work or be otherwise a gas hazard.

You could slow roast instead. Im pretty sure the flavor is similar either way.

I actually just learned that a week ago after making my last batch of salsa! I had been using cilantro in recipes for years, always wondering why people liked it. This study was a revelation. It totally tastes like soap to me. π

Yes that's terrible, cilantro is wonderful. Thankfully my family is in the clear, we love cilantro.
