NCC-1701. No bloody A, B, C or D.

I loved the D. the lights were so pretty. The inside was actually believable in terms of technology -- even though it was faked. I just don't see what bright orange painted plywood has to do with deep space...

There are two versions of NCC-1701: the original TV series and the 'refitted and refurbished' of the first three films.

TOS Enterprise. It was a huge breakout in design in its time and avoids being stylized like some of the ships in Abrams ST universe.

The original. All the others were cool, but the first is the foundation.

You have to say the Enterprise D was not an attractive design, and the TNG sets were very dull, like a hotel mostly used for business conferences. Totally unexciting, visually.
