And I am only a moderate fan of the original.
The remake is just so bland. It seemed to be trying to make a Total Recall that could fit more with Minority Report or Blade Runner tonally, but fails completely at making a good movie with that idea.

The original Total Recall is better. The remake did try to illegally win this thread contest by casting Kate Beckinsale and Bryan Cranston as the villains but ultimately I'll have to go with the original.
