6/10 for 32. Very strong moments although Paul Muni is a bit of a ham.
4/10 for 83. Okay, I guess Muni wasn’t THAT much of a ham…

Scarface (1983) is one of the greatest movies of all time.
I don't really care about the dated 1932 version.

Easy pick. 1932 was a decent film. 1983 was just more Hollywood same old formula mob propaganda to help the mob.

32 for me. Muni is pretty good but Hawks direction is very well done. George Raft did an excellent job.
I'm not a huge De Palma fan. Pacino is acting like a parody of a Cuban refugee turned drug lord.
