At the end of the day when all is said and done, She'll still be more rich, successful, and talented than him.

At the end of the day when all is said and done, She'll still be more rich, successful, and talented than him. It seems like jealousy to me. I don't know why, but this really bugged me.

I hear him making his comments in the persona of Deacon Frost.
But he has a point though. Blade was a decent Marvel movie--he's one of the first--maybe the first Marvel cinematic villain?
Excluding serials and tv shows released theatrically overseas.

I like Stephen Dorff, but yeah, he should probably be more embarrassed about this:

Sure, comic book/superhero movies are generally overly commercial, unnecessarily ubiquitous, style over substance, "fast food" cinema, etc.
Sure, when you see an Oscar-caliber actor/director take part in a comic book/superhero film these days, it's likely because of how these movies pay well, have a good chance of success, offer financial/job security, allow you to make more personal projects in return for the participation, etc.
But like with any other film genre, when these movies are made right, they can turn out well and be something to be proud of.

I guess after starring in highbrow fare like Somewhere or True Detective Season 3 Dorff fancies himself a serious actor now.
