Some of those cities can use a Major League team. Have you ever been to a Cyclones game at Keyspan (or Maimonedes, as it is now called)? It's a ton of fun and a fraction of the price of a pro game. I would take my nephews there all the time when they were little, a bit more cost effective as they would usually get a little restless in the middle innings and the games are a bit more kid-friendly. I've never been to a Staten Island Yankees game, but I'm sure it's also fun. Come to think of it, I've never actually set foot in Staten Island. I've driven through it 100s of times but I've never got out of my car and waltzed around. How about that.

I can enjoy watching a baseball game anywhere. I would stop and watch the kids play at the Newtown High Scholl baseball field or some people play at the Flushing Meadow Park. I can't say that about when people play other sports.
Funny you say that about Staten Island. I don't remember me ever stepping foot on Staten Island either. I've been through it several time on cars through the Verrazano Bridge. Other than that, the closest I got to Staten Islander was the Statue of Liberty. In fact, I don't step foot on Brooklyn and Bronx that much either. The last time I was in Bronx not in a transportation was attending a Yankees game in 2019.

It's a great time though, especially if you have little ones with you. I hear you about being able to watch baseball anywhere. Even when I walk my dog, we'll often sit and watch the beer league guys play, it's a ton of fun. If you love Italian food, get yourself to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx.

Buffalo isn't a minor league city.
Until the end of the month, then we get the Bisons back from Trenton
