1984. The original is always better than the remake. I'm really looking forward for the new one to come out this year though since it has the original actors and it's release been postponed for over a year now because of covid.

My biggest issue with this is that Ghostbusters didn’t need a remake. The only reason Feig went with a remake is cause he didn’t know how to do a 3rd movie. What fucking BULLSHIT!!!!
Thank goodness we’re getting Afterlife in November.

Whether one likes the remake or not, the original film will always be better by quite the large margin. The original was lightning in a bottle and that was never gonna be recaptured, even the sequel couldn't quite do it. I do find it cute one person decided to be funny and vote for the remake though.
