Considering the source of this info, please take it with a grain of salt: wegotthiscovered.com/movies/dwayne-johnson-reportedly-lead-dceu/But apparently, Dwayne Johnson thinks his Black Adam should be the main lead for the DCEU franchise. What are your thoughts? Personally, I still think it should be Wonder Woman, but considering the dumpster fire that was WW84, I'm currently rethinking my opinion on that.

I'm cool with it being Wonder Woman. If Black Adam ends up being reformed and became a member of the JSA or even the Justice League, I'd be fine with that as well.

Skaathar, with all due respect to you how the fuck can you prefer Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman over Dwayne Johnson as a leader of anything? She's got the personality of a wet fish.

Because I have yet to see Black Adam and therefore can't judge just how good Johnson is in the role whereas Gadot has already proven herself with WW. 2. Because when I watch Gadot as WW, I see WW. When I watch Dwayne Johnson portray any character, I see him basically playing himself. 3. Because Gadot is far more my type than Dwayne Johnson is.

Gal hasn't proven herself to me in the WW movies so I don't know what you're talking about.

You'd be surprised at how big an impact physical attractiveness plays in portraying lead characters in fictional movies. In any case, you may not think Gal has proven herself to you in the WW movies but she has indeed proven herself in majority of the audiences' eyes, at least if were to judge by both box office and general audience reception of her movie. And regardless of what you may think, that's still a better track record than Dwayne Johnson who has yet to portray an iconic superhero to date. The closest he ever came to one was Hercules and that was far from being a success.

The box office is due to Gal's tits and ass and the character of Wonder Woman in her first movie not her acting skills anyway and the second one was unsuccessful.

Guess all the women who watched WW only did so for Gadot's tits and ass huh?

I also included the character of Wonder Woman thus what she has represented in the comics for decades prior being a reason which has nothing to do with Gal Gadot.

Yeah sure, but that's all only your opinion. Based on general audience reception as well as critical reviews, Gadot's first WW movie was very well received worldwide.

The first WW movie was very well received and it showed remarkably strong legs at the box office for a Summer release. Unfortunately, WW84 seems to have killed much of the goodwill the first movie generated. At this point, I’m not even sure if a third one would be very viable.

Because of the film being Wonder Woman's first onscreen adventure nothing more nothing less. A lesson that was learned in the sequel's release.

No, her first onscreen adventure was BvS. Her first onscreen solo adventure was Wonder Woman. And that's still a far more successful movie than any solo hero feature from Dwayne Johnson.

Her first onscreen solo adventure was Wonder Woman. And that's still a far more successful movie than any solo hero feature from Dwayne Johnson. It wasn't that solo she had Chris Pine known for Star Trek to help with that since Wonder Woman needed a capable leading man the audience could take note of. Had it been an only Gal dependant film it wouldn't have been successful.
