This was such a fascinating story. It tells the story on both sides rather than glorify David Packouz and Efraim Diveroli. What they were doing was legal, they were afterall working with the American government.
Miles Teller was solid and even Jonah Hill was tolerable. The whole business of arms dealing was really intriguing. It's a nicely done dark comedy.
More real life stories like this needs to be told.

"I'm the fattest and most retarded." - That line really made me laugh.
The movie was fun, but felt a bit like the poor man's The Wolf Of Wall Street. Best scene was probably the one where Jonah Hill took out that bazooka from the trunk to scare away the gangstas.
It seemed to me they played it too safe. Not enough fun and excess.

I enjoyed it. Both Miles Teller and Jonah Hill were very good.

I prefer War Dogs over The Wolf of Wall Street. Wolf glorified Belfort, it felt too one sided to me. Belfort was a criminal and his antics were played up for shits and giggles.

I’ve always been interested in this, but wasn’t sure how much I’d like it.
