See - this is what I don't get Like - where's the official clock? How do I know when the 'Extra Time' is over - am I to just guess?  When do we go to penalty kicks? Like in life, nothing is certain. 2 x 15 minutes, but the ref can add some time to compensate time losses through injuries or other pauses of the game. After that, England will once more lose in a penalty shootout. I'm rooting for the white team - I like their tattoos and haircuts better

I check a live ticker once in a while (hoping that England - the ones with three lion on the Jerseys - will be defeated). But that's it. I'm waiting for the NFL season to start. Is Brady in top form again, how is Gronky doing, will Prescott live up to his contract, is Lawrence really that good, will the Fraudster continue to trash his legacy...what about Rodgers.

Turning it off. PKs should never decide a final match of this magnitude.
NHL has it right. They should play till they drop. But make it sudden death, not 30 minutes a go.

A fair chance for both. A sudden death seems to me unfair. Their was a sudden death rule called golden goal, That's how we won in 1996. It was weird, and even some players didn't realize the situation.

I'm just glad the two guys who faked and stopped both missed their penalties and, Rashford especially, looked like idiots. Bad luck England. Excellent shoot out.

I think it was on okay game. England should not be considered among traditional great football nations such as Germany, Italy, Brazil, Argentina. They are just not good enough in big situations.
