I don't drink but I do think it can be nasty. The way it can affect some people negatively if they overdo it is definitely nasty.

I think beer is gross. Even when I was a drinker, beer was nasty.

I tried beer and wine as a kid and didn't like it.

I was a teetotaler in college, and I saw my friends sick and stinking of beer too many times to even try it. Then, years later, I had a Margarita... It depends on the booze and what, if anything, is mixed with it. I like gin and tonic, a Bloody Mary is nearly a complete meal, and Amaretto Di Sorona. Scotch, even the good stuff, tastes like gasoline to me. It is all personal preference. As long as it is done responsibly, like not driving with booze on board.

I don't really drink much anymore, but I do know that beer gets better after 2 or 3 of them.

I think beer is sort of nasty. Wine is even nastier.
Mixed drinks taste good though. Like Rum and Coke, screwdrivers etc.
I don't drink often, but I like to get a buzz going once in a while.

I don't drink and never have. A lot of my old friends were heavy drinkers. They ended up with dreadful headaches after nights out and their behaviour often changed dramatically. Some of them had blackouts and didn't remember what had happened that night. Alcohol is just a drug that leads to far too many health and social problems. I don't care for it. I am someone who doesn't change much when I drink, besides being very slightly more outgoing. I drink just once in a while and have never had much issue with bad hangovers. A bad hangover once in a while is worth the fun night for me though. The worst is when you get so drunk that you spend the night puking. That is too drunk and I have rarely gotten that drunk.

You sound like someone who can handle their drink. I've known people like that as well. But too many go overboard with it. I'm no puritan and wouldn't be one for advocating prohibitionism or anything like that, but seeing teenagers and 20-somethings routinely engaging in binge-drinking is depressing.

I love (good) booze (and good beer), I love bars, I love the culture of drinking; but it often leads to bad decisions, so I am sober most of the time.

It's an excellent thirst quencher.
