It (1990)
Only because It: Chapter 2 (2019) is such a huge disappointment. I don't hate it and there are some major things I like about it, but it is a mess overall. It is one of the most tonally inconsistent movies I have ever seen and has some terrible stuff in it. The cgi in Chapter 1 is annoying sometimes, but I can tolerate it. Chapter 2 goes into cgi overload far past the point of being distracting.

2. It (1990) - 6.5/10
3. It: Chapter 2 - 5.5/10

Close, but overall I'm going with 1990. I prefer Tim Curry as Pennywise, which is another factor.

I enjoyed Chapter 1, but Chapter 2 sunk the whole ship. So my vote goes to It 1990.

I liked Curry's Pennywise better, but overall I find the movies much more watchable and entertaining than the miniseries.
