Thanks to everyone who shared their Father's favorite film. I enjoyed reading it. So now Mom. This one's a bit hard for me, because my Mom died a few years ago. Not as important as other things I never asked, but I'm sure it could have been a great conversation. If your Mom or Father is still alive ask them loads of questions. Questions about you when you were young, questions about your Grandparents. Plus it will make them happy to talk about it (usually) When it's too late; it's too late forever. Anyway, I hope you know! What's your Mom's favorite film?

Probably Steel Magnolias. She has it on DVD, but watches it every single time she catches it on TV.

Hard to tell, my mother was more into TV shows than films.
Some films I recall her really liking:
Sleuth (1972)
Don't Look Now (1973)
The Last Metro (1980)
Batman (1989)
The English Patient (1996)

At first she said Casablanca, but then she changed her mind and went with Gran Torino.

I'm fairly certain she's never had one, never big on the medium.
I know she really liked Ratatouille when I took her, & funnily enough was her recommendation so shoutout that lols.

She really liked Rasputin the Mad Monk. And El Cid.
She didn't like new movies. She liked Ghost Ship, the Score, but mostly we watched older movies.
When we watched the Expendables she said of Jason Statham: "I like this guy."
That reminds me--wasn't there someone on here who had his mother's reaction to various movies--Harrison Ford ones "wow he sure got old."
Those were entertaining.
