CBS has ranked the divisions in the NFL from worst to best -
8. NFC East 7. AFC South 6. NFC North 5. NFC South 4. AFC East 3. AFC West 2. AFC North 1. NFC West
Hoping Joe Burrow takes a massive leap this year and expect the AFC North to be the best in football. Love the QBs in that division

NFC West is easily the strongest.
Lots of drama and theater in that NFC East too.

Obviously and it goes without saying the most drama/intrigue/theater is in the NFC East
Regards to the NFC West I love Kyler Murray and hope the Cards take the next step, but didn't they fail to make the playoffs the final game of the year last year (I'm not certain he's made the playoffs yet - I'd have to look it up).
I love me some Detroit Lions football but I never got the Matthew Stafford love. We'll see this year if he really is an elite QB that the masses state he is. As far as the Seahawks - didn't Russ have an atrocious 2nd half of the year last year? And the 49ers? They're so not confident that Jimmy G is 'The Guy' - they even drafted his successor.
Lot's of 'IFs' in the NFC West.
This guy right here just doesn't see it folks

So division strength is directly related to QB strength? Even if it were, the NFC West has among the best collective QB talent. It also contains two of the last three NFC champions, both of which are primed for better seasons than last year. The Seahawks are perennial playoff contenders with Russ. Even the Cardinals, the worst of the bunch, had a better record than the NFC East champ!
Look at #2 on the rankings. There are a lot more "ifs" in the AFC North. That division will be good IF the Steelers can survive with zombie Ben. IF the Browns can prove that last year wasn't a fluke. IF Lamar can expand his passing game with the Ravens. IF the Bengals can take a step forward with a (hopefully) healthy Burrow.

I can see Big Ben putting the Black and Gold on his back knowing this will be his last hurrah and taking them to the Super Bowl
Big Ben vs. Brady one last time - this time for the Super Bowl - would be a story of epic proportions (at least for me)
In fact - I can see the Steelers, Ravens or Browns (my pick) in the Super Bowl
And expect the Bengals to be a lot better in Burrow's 2nd year
I don't think you can say that about the other divisions - that you can envision 3 teams in the Super Bowl

I can see the Rams, Seahawks or Niners in the SB. I can't see the Steelers, Ben is done

The NFC West is definitely the strongest division - I could see any of those 4 teams making the Super Bowl to be honest.
The AFC North is very interesting - 3 interesting young QB’s, all 4 teams are fun to watch.
The weakest division is probably the NFC South - the Bucs are great and they should run away with the division, the Panthers, Falcons and Saints all have question marks.
The NFC East gets the most attention every year but it’s definitely not the best division, it will be competitive though.

I like Lance, but for 2021, Lance would be the worst of the bunch. I might take the NFC West, but it's by a pretty slim margin.

I agree, but I might take Jimmy G over Big Ben at this stage of their careers, and I really don’t get all the hate of Jimmy G - he did start in the Super Bowl 2 years ago, and while he wasn’t great in that game I blame Shanahan more for the Niners loss in Super Bowl 54 than Jimmy G. I think Garoppolo is a good QB who gets too much criticism.

Roethlisberger threw 33 TDs and 10 INTs in the regular season last year. Stafford threw 26 TDs and 10 INTs. Kyler Murray threw 26 TDs and 12 INTs. In seven years in the league, Garoppolo has never thrown for more than 27 TDs in a year - - his second best season ever is 7. Seven! Roethlisberger had a bad playoff game versus the Browns - - but he also threw for 501 yards and 4 touchdowns in that game. I don't think the Steelers are a true Super Bowl threat this year, but people who think they are going to fall off a cliff are just buying into a very poorly argued narrative.

I'd love to see him in the Super Bowl one last time - win it - then retire
I shall be cheering for him and the Steelers this year
I always loved Ben and is who I envisioned Carson turning into - a big mobile QB
I'd watch Big Ben on 3rd and 13 and my jaw would drop at times - like an elusive dancing Bear in the pocket who looked like he was stuck in concrete at times shrugging off and eluding rushers - and the next thing you know he picks up the 1st down taking off with his legs. Used to remind me of who Russ and Rodgers are now and have been for years on 3rd and long - you just hold your breath if your team is defending and end up screaming your head off and throwing things at the TV when he picks up the first after scrambling for his life.
I just hope it's not going to be like watching a former elite boxer in his last days - i.e. Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao - where Ben looks old, tired and slow and can't keep up. I prefer to see the legends go out on top

They were the dumpster fire in the last two years, but they are about to leave their rebuilding phase...save for the Eagles. They do their part. Great first draft pick, but they need way more time. So three teams can win it, and this time most likely with a winning record, but that's it. No wild cards claiming teams. South...the Bucs will win it, and the Saints will struggle to even manage a winning record (Brees departure is one thing, the slaughtered that was commanded by the cap space is another). 10-7 is the best I see here, and this will be not enough for a wild card. The NFC North one dumpster fire, two teams in rebuild mode, with very good prospects for the Vikings. But the Packers can go either way. Rodgers opt out or get his trade, and the Viking will most likely win this division. No wild card claims. But yes, the NFC West is the strongest division, and it could be the first time, that all four make it to the play offs. Imho it could be very likely. With 17 games the inter divisional defeats won't hit as hard as in earlier seasons. East and South are rather weak, and even North has its struggle. We might even end up with two dumpster fires if Rodgers leave. East: weak, but one has to win it (Dallas) North: only one potential top team - if Rodgers stays (Packers or Vickings) South: the Bucs and the rest is recovering or rebuilding (Bucs) West: Even the Cardinals have made their home work. All teams are competitive. (the entire bunch) ----------------------------- AFC...hm...I need more time.

The key is our O-Line holding up and protecting Hurtsy, giving him time in the pocket to find our weapons, and mauling the D-Line opening gaps for our run game
