How did Gostisbehere get so bad? He was pretty good when he started. He had a lights out 2017/18 - probably his best year
He (and a lot of people) contribute his poor play to the knee surgery he had after that year - looked like a completely different player
Never really looked the same after that

I had a weird thought around playoff time regarding the NHL draft...
NHL goalies are arguably considered one of the next most important positions in all big 4 pro sports, behind QB.
Yet how many goalies get drafted first, or top 5, or top 10? Am I crazy or is that crazy. Goalie? Yeah, we'll grab him 41st overall before someone steals him.

You take a goalie, you might not see them on the ice for five years - whereas you’re more likely to get a surefire NHL talent in the immediate future by targeting safer areas first. |

Wonder if his gambling problem has torn apart their family and turned their lives upside down and this is her way of trying to finally let him see she's had enough and wants him to get help

Reminds me of the Sopranos episode where Robert Patrick (T2 fame) played 'Davey' a compulsive gambler with a wife and kid - think he lost his kid's college tuition money if memory serves and made his kid sell his car - ended up owing Tony a ton of money and Tony took over his business (sold kayaks and hiking gear) - can't remember if Tony whacked him or not

I lived a couple of miles from that Ramsay Outdoor Store. Surprised they didn't insist on a name change.
