Theory about it being Sylvie aka 'She Who Remains' This 'Loki' Fan Theory Offers a Shocking Answer to Who's In That CastleBrady Langmann Tue, July 13, 2021, 8:56 AM If you’re not familiar with TheMediocreCritic’s pop culture theories, then you’re very much in the right place. TheMediocreCritic predicted Luke Skywalker showing up in The Mandalorian—and even proposed that Loki’s Mobius M. Mobius is stuck in a time loop, which is a theory we wouldn’t be shocked if it somehow came to be this Wednesday. Who knows. All bets are off the table in our post-Alligator-Loki world. TheMediocreCritic’s newest theory takes on the question of the week: Who’s in that big CGI castle at the end of Loki Episode Five? Some fans will tell you Victor Von Doom or Kang the Conqueror. There’s a whole other camp placing bets on another Tom Hiddleston Loki turning out to be the big bad all along. This new Reddit theory agrees that the castle-dweller is a Loki. Just not the one you think. Let’s head over to the beginning of the theory: Yep. TheMediocreCritic thinks that another version of Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie is at the end of the tunnel here—having destroyed the TVA and taken her throne after the end of all the destruction, This one honestly makes an incredible amount of sense, given that Marvel seems to be toying with its Kang Easter eggs a little too much, and a Hiddleston vs. Hiddleston battle in the finale would be a little too on the nose. TheMediocreCritic goes on to explain that, by destroying the TVA, Sylvie created the Void—and the timeline is doomed as we know it because of her actions. As for what’s in store for the finale? Now that is when we could see Jonathan Majors’s Kang the Conqueror getting into the mix. While you wait—and not sleep, potentially, although we don’t recommend that—until the finale, follow TheMediocreCritic on Twitter here—so you don’t miss the theorist’s next big prediction.

I've been thinking it's another Loki variant or Kang the Conqueror.

I've been thinking it's another Loki variant or Kang the Conqueror. I really don't like the idea of it being Kang... I know there have been clues that it could be, and there's a strong comic connection but he's supposed to be the next Thanos-tier villain... and they introduce at the end of a Disney+ series by having his whole TVA scheme get foiled by a couple Lokis? and he has all those Infinity Stones just acting as paper weights in an office?

welp it was kinda both Kang and He Who Remains since they're variants of the same person. didn't guess that one! I liked it. His exposition did drag on about a minute too long but otherwise it was an amazing finale...and now Loki is in a different version of the TVA and I guess that's where season 2 will pick up...and Sylvie at the Citadel not sure what to do now that she completed her centuries long mission.

I figured Kang, but I was holding out for someone more surprising. The 6th episode was anti-climatic...and if they'd take out the number of long pauses in conversation in this series, they could have done show in just five episodes. That and Tom Hiddleston pretty playing second lead stooge are my only complaints.
